KY AG challenges the Head Start Vaccine Mandate

-The lawsuit was filed with 23 other states

-The challenge is that the mandate is unconstitutional & unlawful

-The mandate is aimed towards staff and volunteers of federal Head Start programs

-The KY Head Start programs serve 17,000+ children

- ~17% of staff have not complied with the mandate

POTUS has approved Alabama disaster declaration.

-Oct. 6 & Oct. 7 experienced severe storms

-This declaration makes federal aid available to impacted people in Jefferson and Shelby counties

-The aid can be used towards housing, uninsured property loss, & and more
